Farmers Bank & Trust congratulates Lauren Brown, Commercial Loan Officer, and Vice President at the Prescott branch, for her recent certification as a Chartered Banking Professional (ChBP) from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
The ChBP program provides its graduates with a broad spectrum of banking and bank management information and skills. The certification effectively allows its alumni to confidently be ready for any task assigned to them in the banking industry.

Veteran Banker
Brown has been in banking for a total of 16 years. She was formerly Assistant Vice President at Bank of Prescott from 2008 until the institution was acquired by Farmers Bank & Trust in 2019. She is a graduate of Southern Arkansas University, where she earned a double undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance. In 2015, she completed the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
Originally from Malvern, Brown has been a Prescott resident since 2007. She is currently the Treasurer for the Women in Prescott (WIP), a nonprofit group that helps support women’s activities in the Prescott area. She is married with three children and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.
