Farmers Bank & Trust Launches HEART Student Collective

A group of students stands together holding notebooks and discussing, with the logo "HEART Student Collective" prominently displayed. The word "HEART" features a blue heart with a white Farmers Bank & Trust Rising F logo inside, set against a light blue background.

Farmers Bank & Trust (FB&T) launches the HEART Student Collective, an exciting opportunity for students aged 16-20 to engage with their communities while gaining insights into banking and leadership. Rooted in the bank’s core values of HEART (Honor, Excellence, Adaptability, Respect, and Teamwork), this program inspires and empowers the next generation.

Students can now apply online at MyFarmers.Bank/heartcollective through Jan. 31, 2025. FB&T accepts applications in the following communities: Texarkana, Texas; Texarkana, Ark.; Ashdown, Ark.; Magnolia, Ark.; Camden, Ark.; Hope, Ark.; Nashville, Ark.; De Queen, Ark.; and Paris, Texas.

Participants choose to serve a one-year or two-year term (full calendar year) and gain opportunities to learn about local banking, experience a corporate atmosphere, shadow professionals during the summer, and join the FB&T internship program. In turn, the Bank connects with younger generations and learns more about their preferences for technology, customer service, and marketing.

HEART Student Collective members earn credit for volunteer hours, receive exclusive FB&T gear, and enjoy other perks. FB&T celebrates their involvement with an annual press release, blog posts, and social media features. Members can also join the FB&T Social Media Ambassador program to expand their professional networking and connections.
