Nearly 400 Farmers Bank & Trust (FB&T) employees and its affiliated companies gathered in Texarkana, Texas, on Monday, Feb. 17, for the 2025 HEART Celebration. This event celebrates the dedication and hard work of the Bank’s staff across Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma. It was held on Presidents Day when branches were closed.
The HEART Celebration is a special day to recognize the people behind FB&T’s 30-plus locations. This year’s theme, “HEART Through the Decades,” invited employees to celebrate Farmers Bank & Trust’s history by dressing as their favorite era from the 1900s to the 2020s. Founded in 1906, FB&T’s legacy was honored with decade-inspired decorations, music, and activities.
For entertainment, the crowd was dazzled by renowned mentalist and magician Kevin Viner, an award-winning performer known for his captivating blend of mind-reading, illusion, and humor.

The HEART Celebration also spotlights employees who embody FB&T’s core values of HEART (Honor, Excellence, Adaptability, Respect, and Teamwork). The event culminates with FB&T President and CEO Chris Gosnell announcing the HEART Award winners.
This year’s winners were:
FB&T also recognized multiple employees for their extensive years of service. The honorees included Janet Fox for 40 years; Cherre Wright for 30 years; Cindy Burdine, Jennifer Cheatham, and Monty Harrington for 25 years; and Steven Word, Michelle Barrong, Sherry Shaw, Michelle Molina, Lesley Meeker, Jill Fronek, and Anita Mays for 20 years of service. Recognition was also given to employees celebrating 15, 10, and five years of service.
