Farmers Bank & Trust is excited to host a Community Appreciation Cookout on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will take place at the Ashdown branch, located at 960 S. Constitution Avenue.
The public event will feature a come-and-go community lunch featuring fresh-grilled hamburgers, chips, and drinks. As a special highlight, attendees can win an Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Resident Sportsman’s Lifetime Combination (hunting and fishing) License and Permit, valued at $1,000. The drawing will be held at 1:15 p.m., and entrants do not have to be present to win. (See full contest rules* and eligibility** below).

*Contest rules: One Resident Sportsman’s Lifetime Combination License and Permit ($1,000 value) will be awarded to one individual entry. No purchase necessary. Not necessary to be a Farmers Bank & Trust customer to enter. Must be 18 years old. Entries can be submitted at Farmers Bank & Trust Cookout at 960 S. Constitution Avenue, Ashdown, AR 71822 on October 25, 2024. Submission deadline is October 25, 2024, at 1 p.m. Prize will be awarded October 25, 2024, at 1:15 p.m. Presence NOT required to win. Farmers Bank & Trust employees not eligible to enter. Limited to one entry per person.
** A Resident Sportsman’s Lifetime Combination License and Permit Entitles purchasers of any age to the privileges of the Resident Sportsman’s License (hunting) and the Resident Fisheries Conservation License (fishing). Fees for trout permits, leased lands permits, alligator permits, elk permits, state waterfowl stamps and wildlife management area permit hunts are included with this license. License holders must apply, however, for WMA hunts, be successfully drawn and return notification of acceptance before being issued a permit. Harvest Information Program (HIP) registration is required to hunt migratory game birds. To hunt waterfowl, federal waterfowl stamps are required in addition to HIP.
This permit is available at the AGFC Little Rock Office and AGFC regional offices. Applicants must provide proof of the recipient’s age and one year of Arkansas residency. Applications are available at AGFC regional offices or by calling 833-345-0325 or 501-207-0326 in the Little Rock area. Only 500 of these licenses are issued per fiscal year (July 1-June 30), and they are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
