Farmers Bank & Trust is proud to host an upcoming food drive for the McCurtain County area. The two-month donation event will begin Friday, Sept. 1, and last through Friday, Nov. 3, 2023. All donations will go to Hand to Hand, Inc., a nonprofit food pantry based in Haworth, Oklahoma, that has been in continuous operation since 1989.
Donations can include non-perishable food items and monetary gifts. Goods and donations can be dropped off at the Broken Bow Farmers Bank & Trust branch at 409 South Park Drive, Broken Bow, Oklahoma, or Farmers Bank & Trust’s Idabel branch at 702 SE Washington Street, Idabel, Oklahoma.
Lobby hours for the branches are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., while drive-through hours (for monetary donations only) are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m.-noon.
“These contributions will directly help feed the hungry and less fortunate in our community,” said J Bigham, Farmers Bank & Trust Market President. “This food drive is just a small way we can give back, and we encourage anyone who can drop off an item or donate – even the smallest amounts – to support this extremely worthy and locally-impactful cause.”
